CONFIDENTIALITY AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Although all doctors and staff have access to patient records they are all bound by the same rules of confidentiality. The data protection act ensures that records can only be accessed when there is a genuine need and we comply with this as a practice. No information will be disclosed to third party without specific consent from the patient.

DISABLED ACCESS

The entrance to the surgery has no steps and fully automatic doors. A disabled parking space is situated in the car park outside the front door. There is an invalid toilet on the premises, and we also have a wheel chair available in the surgery. Please just ask a receptionist who will give any assistance required.
We also have a member of staff who is trained in British Sign Language, and is working to ensure that we meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
