AppointmentsSurgeries are by appointment and each appointment is for one
person only. If you cannot keep the appointment, please let us know
so that someone else may use it. If you need urgent medical
attention please explain this to the receptionist as you may be able
to see the doctor the same day. Sometimes the duty doctor will ring
you to discuss your illness. Appointments can also be booked in advance. Choice of Doctor While we will always try to offer you an appointment with the practitioner of your choice we cannot always do so due to high demand, holidays, days off and other commitments. Please be assured that all members of the practice have access to your computerised medical notes, and so will be able to ensure continuity of care. The receptionist may also ask why you need to be seen. You do not need to disclose this if it is private, but by giving this information you will be given the most appropriate appointment with the most appropriate person.
A&E is available for head injuries, excessive bleeding from any
injury, injury to chest or trunk and back injuries. Please leave all non-urgent ambulance bookings until after 2pm as the telephone is less busy then. |
